Between woods and heathland lies our Youth Hostel complete with large campsite - with room for up to 150 people in tents, the tent village (8 sleeping tents with 50 beds and communal area) as well as 10 summer huts (sleep a total of 69 guests). The campsite and summer huts have a sanitation block with washrooms, showers and toilets. The Youth Hostel has a natural outdoor swimming area with a lawn for relaxing.

Long-distance walking trails stretching for between 5 and 20 km allow you to discover the charming "geest" landscape so typical of this area, with its sprawling woods and little stretches of heathland. Nearby attractions include the water mill in Hainmühlen and the picturesque little market town of Bederkesa, with its mighty knight's castle.
